Cynnig i Ethol Cadeirydd Dros Dro Motion to Elect Temporary Chair
[1] Ms Madeley: Bore da a chroeso i gyfarfod y Pwyllgor Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol. Fel clerc y pwyllgor, ac yn unol â Rheol Sefydlog Rhif 17.22, rydw i’n galw am enwebiadau ar gyfer Cadeirydd dros dro i’r cyfarfod heddiw.		Ms Madeley: Good morning and welcome to this meeting of the Health and Social Care Committee. As committee clerk and in accordance with Standing Order No. 17.22, I call for nominations for a temporary Chair for today’s meeting.
[2] Rebecca Evans: I nominate David Rees.
[3] Ms Madeley: Gwelaf nad oes enwebiadau eraill, felly rwy’n datgan bod David Rees wedi’i benodi’n Gadeirydd dros dro.		Ms Madeley: I see that there are no other nominations and therefore declare that David Rees has been appointed temporary Chair.

Cyflwyniad, Ymddiheuriadau a Dirprwyon Introductions, Apologies and Substitutions
[4] David Rees: Thank you, and good morning. I welcome Members to the meeting of the Health and Social Care Committee. I remind Members that the meeting will be bilingual and that headphones can be used for simultaneous translation from Welsh to English on channel 1, or for amplification on channel 0. I ask everyone to please turn off their mobile phones so that they do not interfere with the audio and other electronic equipment. There is no scheduled fire drill today, so, in the event of an alarm, please follow the directions of the ushers.
[5] I note the absence of Vaughan Gething and Ken Skates, due to their appointment to Government posts. Darren Millar has sent his apologies. Leighton Andrews and I are here as substitutes.
[6] In accordance with the motion agreed by the committee on 1 July, the remainder of today’s business will be taken in private.
